Young Diana Prescott was expected to be so much because of her family name. Turns out she wanted to be a fighter, not a model like her older sisters and mother. But, her parents didn't approve of this so they sent her to a school for troubled children, but a few days after her arrival, half the school building was demolished in a freak earthquake. Soon after, reports from all over the world came in about buildings being demolished and hundreds of thousands dying. A few weeks later, only a few survivors were left, including Diana Prescott and her new family member, Biscuit, the Golder Retriever.
