Ember hated him.
Loki disliked her.
She hated him so much that it was sometimes difficult for her to breath when she thought of him.
He thought she was tolerable but nevertheless wanted to strangle her like a duck sometimes.
All she wanted was to barbeque him but guess fate had something else in store for them.

"It's not possible." She said, shaking her head. "Fire and ice...they can never come close. It'll result in destruction of either one."
"Try me." He persisted.
"You'll get grilled like a turkey."
"Well," he shrugged, grinning. "Atleast, I'll make a delicious turkey."
