Age fifteen, Krissy Cooper is diagnosed with leukaemia and starts chemotherapy immediately. One month after her diagnosis, things aren't better. Her hair may be starting to grow back a bit, but she learns she has another new cancer, one that is said to be incurable.

Liam and Louis have been Krissy's best friends since the very start and are supportive no matter what. As things aren't getting better, they urge Krissy to make and complete a bucket list, a list of all the things you want to do before you die. Krissy accepts the suggestion and the three go on numerous adventures they will never forget.
