Welcome to the first book of the IN series.

Aurora Samantha Morreti is a 15 year old whose life depended on novels,food,her mom,sleep , school and her best friend Jason or affectionately called Jay .

One summer before sophomore year her best friend shatters the heart he had healed with the help of Katelyn Sparks the girl our sweet innocent Aurora hates . Life isn't going great for her 2 weeks into summer when she gets a call from her dad's parents also her grandparents to come to Italy for summer . She knew it was her mom who did it because she was worried for her. Rory has always loved her grandparents who also have no clue about the dissapearance of their son as well. She decides to go to Italy as Jay spends summer at a beach house with Katelyn.

She expected a lot of fun with her grandparents yet loneliness as they aren't exactly the greatest at fawning over boy bands, mani pedis and other stuff but what she did not expect was a new friend
