I wish I could say that my life is everything I've ever dreamed of. A flashy career with amazing music, huge publicity, award shows, world tours and fans that look to my every move. Somehow I painted this ridiculous picture of happiness in my head, and now that I've achieved my goals, all I feel is emptiness. My music isn't my own, my publicity is all a stunt, the award shows cover up the truth behind closed doors, world tours distract me from my reality, and my fans seem to think everything is perfectly fine. My career suddenly feels like a ton of bricks dragging me to the bottom of the empty lake I've jumped into and I've lost all strength to fight. Art for the sake of art is bullshit.
