Katherine Noel was a nurse during WWII but her eyes were for only a Sargent that had recently joined the 107th, James Barnes had met Katherine at the local club, she had caught his eye almost instantly but when his unit was sent on a mission, only fifty returned. When Steve Rogers came to their camp to perform, he chose to go behind enemy lines to rescue those that had been captured, finding the friend he thought dead. Bringing him and nearly four hundred others back, Katherine was never so relieved to see her soldier return. But a turn of events send the three on a course that will bring them face to face with each other again over seventy years later.
