When two academic rivals agree to help each other and end up falling in love, what happens?
Tito, a girl struggling with sickle cell disease, and Benjy, a popular jock at Cherry High School, have always been the top students, with Tito consistently outshining Benjy in every competition, debate, and test. But there is a problem: Benjy's father is adamant that his son should be the best of the best, and no one else should take the top spot.
One day, Tito is absent from school, and Benjy has to represent their school in a prestigious science competition. Overjoyed at the opportunity, he soon realizes that he will need help from the best if he wants to win.
When Benjy learns of Tito's crush on his best friend, he makes her a deal: he will help her win over his friend, and she will help him prepare for the competition. Together, they can finally make everyone happy. But as they spend more time together, something undeniable starts to happen between them - something that has nothing to do with competition.
