Matthew Murdock wasn't your average man, it's true. But he tries to be, as often as he can. But his other lifestyle manages to always take over. A law teacher by day, a vigilante by night. But what happens when him and his assistant start spending so much time together? After all, it's a requirement for their jobs.
Fay is your somewhat average girl. She grew up in Hell's kitchen. But even though she's somewhat average, she's also very intelligent, observant, telepathic, telekinetic, and loves to ask questions. Becoming Matt's assistant isn't an easy job, as most nights he leaves her high and dry and puts all of the work on her. What happens when she gets too curious, wondering why he always leaves early and in a rush, and begins looking into his life?
Will Matt let her in? Or has he finally learned from his past to not allow himself to do that? Will Fay support Matt's lifestyle and try to help him? Or will she decided to get away while she can?

"Tell me doctor, is this the feeling of a lying mans heart?" He whispers, his lips grazing my ear. I take in a deep breath and close my eyes about to respond. "You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his. "Now you're just showing off."
