CONNOR LOGAN- He's the man of everyone's dreams. I mean what else could you want. Great body. Forest green eyes. Muscles for days. And a single dad looking for help. Connor wasn't supposed to be on his own when his daughter was born but when he caught his gf cheating not too long afterwards, it left him no choice but to leave. For someone that is constantly on the road for six months of a year he really does need someone to look after his daughter so, when he has no other option he puts out a leaflet for a baby sitter. The only problem is, that he wasn't expecting a ball of beauty to turn up at his door.
EVELYN LOUISE GRAHAM- Her dream is to go to fashion school. Ever since she was little it's been the only thing that caught her eye. She may not have the money but it doesn't mean she still won't try to do everything she can and this includes signing up to become a baby sitter until she has the money. Evelyn hasn't got a clue on how to look after a toddler but it just means she has all the time to practice. The one thing she doesn't have time for is to practice on how to talk to an NHL player. She was never put out for this but she can't back out now.

A three-part (hat trick) story that I am basing off of this hilarious article I found. Aspiring is the first part of this, followed by Rookie Season and then finally the third part of Never Let You Go. Well I like hockey and I'm a fan of the mystery/thriller genre which involves kidnapping, so I combined them. So I hope you enjoy it. And yes, there may be some disturbing ideas later in this novel, but that's why I put the trigger warning up literally thousands of times with this. :) Sorry if this isn't your cup of tea, I just wanted to try something new and test out an interesting novel idea. Kolby Ryan Bair's(Bear), mom left the day after she was born. With nothing but her purse and a Walmart bag full of clothes, she vanished. Kolby's dad, David Bair, had too juggle a new born while being in the NHL. He did it on his own until he met Justin Read. Justin Read was a new player on David's team and well, you could call it love at first sight. No one on their team, the LA Kings, judged their relationship and it took 3 months for them too get hitched. For Kolby, life was good. Ever since she could walk, her dads had her on the ice and by the time she was 6, she was known as the ice queen. She practiced with her dads and their team every time she was allowed to. Hockey came natural to her. Tragedy stuck when Kolby was 10 and it felt like her life would never be the same. It was hard too believe a 10 year old wasn't happy and you could say, depressed. Finally when Kolby was 12 she got back to hockey and kept playing till she was 16, when she got pregnant with her daughter, Lily Shay Bair. Not being able to deal with her daughter's dad, Kolby and her dad moved from LA to Hershey, Pennsylvania. From there, her life takes off.
