Abandoned Story - Pink Elephants

My cigarette crumpled under the force of my fingers, but then it accidentally dropped to the floor. I instinctively pushed my chair behind me and stood up to look down at the smoldering mess at the floor. Rushing over to the cleaning cabinet, I gathered a little dustpan and brush. My break was almost over, and that was causing the tremors in my hands. It was common, so I just dealt with the problem caused by it as I would any other day, any other break. Glancing over to the clock - of course the clock had to have horns too, and a little tail peeking out under it, but I knew that already - I saw that I should be heading out already.
