Madeline Piper Flores was a simple girl from a small town. She was your average teenage girl, nothing truly special about her. Life in this small town was awfully dull. But Madeline had one dream she yearned for, Madeline wanted to travel the world, see new places, fall in love with people she never meet, and mostly make memories all over the world. She wanted it more than ever, traveling is the one thing that made Madeline passionate. Step by step, meeting new people, seeing new places, new memories, and new feelings. Ready to leave the small town behind with no regrets, after all the small town was all black and white. She wanted more color and spice in her life, for once in her life she wanted something to go her way. ©2015 Annie Lee

Madeline's relationship with Asher was like a puzzle with half the pieces missing. From the moment he appeared in her life, he captivated her with the intensity in his eyes, drawing her closer without ever saying a word. There were moments where he felt like a protector-his presence a shield between her and the world. But in the next instant, he would retreat, leaving her confused, clinging to fragments of affection. Every smile he gave seemed to hide something deeper, something darker. It wasn't a love story. It was a game-a dance of tension and release, of waiting for something that might never come. But somehow, she couldn't stop trying to solve it, even as the pieces slipped through her fingers.
