A teenager whose parents work for the Us government. Find a device in his basement. Unknown to him it is a prototype for a time machine. He use it to travel to France during the French Revolution. As he wanted to go back the prototype was broken and thus stuck in the past. A person who loves history. He meets with Napoleon Bonaparte and since he knows what happens to he completely changes the French Revolution to the point where Napoleon creates a French Empire. Spaning entire Europe. This creates the Napoleonic Timeline
