Baseball, Lightbulb, and eventually Balloon are captured by Test Tube and forced to partake in experiments that slowly get more and more dangerous. (That's Paintbrush x Lightbulb x Test Tube x Fan btw) (Test Tube and Lightbulb's relationship isn't romantic at all after the prologue though dw) Note: This is the first fanfiction I've ever wrote, so it might be a little rough around the edges. Useless, hated, depressed was all Balloon felt in his life. He thought he could change it during his time in Inanimate Insanity. But things didn't. It's been a month after his and Nickel and now Paintbrush's elimnation and life didn't get much better. Sure Balloon made a friend, which was Cheesy, but he still felt utterly alone. And when his plan to apologize to everyone backfires.... It leads to a big fight. This fight would last days with everything being the same. Until, that is... When Nickel brings out the heavy hitter. Yelling and confessing things that everybody has been thinking. Heartbroken, Balloon leaves up to his room. In a huge fit of rage, he trashes his room. Having hit the lowest of lows.... All Balloon wanted to do? .... Well.... To continue making things better of course! If they didn't like Balloon, well. Balloon was willing to change! [HUMANIZED!] "...Alright, does someone want to tell me what the fuck is going on," Paintbrush yelled sternly, rubbing their temples to stave off an incoming headache. "THERE'S A DEMON! THERE'S A DEMON IN THE DORM PAINTBRUSH!" Fan screamed, pointing his lightsaber (where did he even get that?) at the floor, swinging it around and nearing throwing it several times, his grip on the handle unsteady. Paintbrush turned their attention to the end of Fan's lightsaber, and on the floor was a small Cellar Spider, not completely motionless but certainly not hostile. I should've expected this, Paintbrush thought hopelessly, rolling their eyes. I am rooming with five-year-olds. . . OR: Paintbrush doesn't know if they'll pass their first year of college; their new dormmates certainly aren't helping. (A Lightbrush college AU.) One day, OJ has to leave for a month to have time with his family and puts Paper in charge. But little does OJ know, Evil Paper is ready for his comeback.
