She decides to go to New York and live with her best friend Adelina Dior, she works at an cafe named " Bells Cafe" Adeline asks her boss if Athena can work there as well because they are low on employees, and he agrees.

They start working together, until one day Adeline takes a day off work, but Athena goes as she's about to close up the cafe she sees a guy and her boss standing, until her boss is laying lifeless on the floor with a bullet between his eyes.
