Jules sat up a second later, and at that point, Lucy knew the teasing smile on her face too well. "You know what I just thought of?"
"What?" said Lucy.
"Out of everyone in this room, you and Elliot are the only ones who haven't kissed yet."
Lucy looked up at Elliot, who was leaning against the wall, trying and failing to look cool. She tilted her head at him and he shrugged. "We can fix that."

Elliot set the guitar in the corner of his room and laid back on the bed, looking up at Lucy. "Truth."

He stared at the ceiling for a long minute. "I think... that's something I don't want to think about."
