She has decided to keep her positive vibes from the holidays into her new school year in a normal high school in England. With the exam stress holding her down, new friendships and enemies to make, her life will quickly change and turn her into someone she never knew she was. What happens if she doesn't fit in? And what if her past goes overseas to haunt her? Will she stand out at Rivemoore High School or will she keep her head down and have a nice, normal year?
Thing is, Laurena just doesn't tend to do normal.

A small girl catches my attention one day during lunch and I can't seemed to get her off my mind. My new friends and others advise me to stay away from the brunette. I'm new to the school so I don't know much of anything but I can't figure out as to why someone so cute and petite could possibly be dangerous. It was a story of an average girl named Lauren. She graduated from college and started a job that people thought was one of the most boring jobs in the world. She could not care less as she enjoyed it. Her love life was even duller, but she did not put much thought into it. Lauren always went to prom alone since she never had someone special at school. Love was something that Lauren never experienced: a few temporary crushes, but no dates, no boyfriends, no girlfriends. She had not had her first kiss, let alone something more than a kiss. She thought, and everybody thought she was just one of those average girls. Everything was fine until one Saturday afternoon, Lauren suddenly felt her life was so dull. It was not really about her job but overall about her life. She wanted to change her life. She wanted to do something new. She felt the urge to do something different, but she had no idea where to start. She felt helpless. How was this average girl going to cope with her dull life? What was she going to do? "Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" "And why not after school or in the weekend?" "Because there's no thrill to it. Please, Louisa." He asked again. I sighed. "What's in it for me, Liam?" He chuckled. "You get to spend time with me! Liam Gilbert, your tour guide, the guy you come to when you don't want to study!" "Let's make a deal," I smirked, "if I ditch with you then you have to study with me." He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. He ditched most days, slept in, never studied for anything and his attendance record wasn't exactly great. When Liam finds out that Louisa, the British good girl, was the perfect student, he wanted to have some fun. But, there comes a price. If Liam wanted Louisa to ditch school then he would have to study with her. Louisa had no idea what she was in for when ditching with Liam and some days, it goes further than just ditching class.
