Julie is a girl whose boyfriend raped her and got her pregnant. So at 17 years old, Julie has to take care of her daughter Aria. Since the rape she has had no contact with boys other than her older brother Noah, the only member of her family who didn't leave her when she got pregnant. 

Luke is a quiet and shy boy but at the same time the most popular boy in his high school. He is the captain of the rugby team that all the girls are after. Everyone sees him as the typical mysterious and popular guy, but he is much more than that. 

Julie and Luke don't go to the same high school, but they meet at a party that Julie's best and only friend Flynn convinces them to go to. Everyone at the party is from Lynnfield High School, but Julie goes to Los Feliz High for their music program. 

What happens when they meet at the party? And afterwards?
