Out Of Time

Nikki is a single mother that faces daily conflicts with her teenage daughter. Her daughter, Ashley, blames her for her birth father walking out on the pair. As she pushes everyone away that's ever been involved with her, she questions if that accusation is true. With poor mental health and a history of being abused, Nikki often finds her reality twisting before her eyes - her distorted instincts tell her that she's being watched and her paranoia digs deep into her soul about her decisions. Sometimes her plaguing nightmares even seem too real. They are so vivid that she wonders if they're warnings from God himself.

Despite the rumors swirling and judgmental gazes received, she has a gut feeling that she needs to be prepared. The people that surround her, including her gossiping neighbors, all claim that she's crazy. She had an ability that they lacked, however, and that was sensing the eruption of the dead. Though the date is unknown, she somehow knows that she's running out of time. With weapons and practice aplenty, she is not worried about her fate. Just like with the rest of her life, she plans on being a survivor and she will ensure her daughter follows suit, despite what it costs.
