Aster was raised to fight. Raised to fear the Faeries that ruled the other Islands surround theirs. Being a mortal meant she couldnt make a name for herself, being female- well that was a whole different story.
When she is given a task to go to the faerie islands to cature a prince she decides this is her chance. Turning against ones that had begun to trust her she uses the prince to enter a competition hekd by the king.
