It was Dragons not power that made the Targyrens kings, but it was Tigers that kept them on the Iron throne.
The House of Caspian has been protecting the future ruler's of Westeros since the days of King Jaehaerys first of his name... Every child of House Caspian save the eldest joins what they call the Tiger guard, alongside their Battle Cats they have protected the kings children for hundred of years making sure they live long enough to sit on the throne.... 

Aella Caspian is the only daughter in her fathers house, she is Rhaegers best friend, his closest confident.. She has no control when the man she is loyal to leaves his wife and children for another woman..
She is a fierce warrior, but when the king goes mad and the capitol falls what can she do especially when her house is forced to bow the knee to the new king. Then Tywin Lancaster decides that Aella would make an excellent bargaining tool to sell to Dorne.

Snakes and Tigers do not mix, its a saying as ancient as the one that says Lions and Tigers shouldnt breed... And yet because of Baretheons folly and Lannisters hate it seems many things that shouldn't happen will happen.

Aemma Velaryon was born on a cold night in King's Landing as the daughter of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon. Born barely a year after her brother Lucerys, she was very different than her brothers. Aemma grew up with a close bond with her dragon. The she dragon was black as night and was named Ebrior for her coloring. But Aemma's demeanor made her a constant target for the court and her step-grandmother, Queen Alicent Hightower. But Aemma knew how to stay hidden in King's Landing. Growing up in King's landing meant that one always had to be cautious, especially with snakes in green lurking around the corner. Read A War of Wings to see what happens to Aemma and her family. The two children would often sneak away from their duties to play with the wooden swords Aemond had stolen for the Princess, or lay outside of the dragon pit watching as the creators of their house flew around, or sometimes they would sit in the gardens with the rest of the new generation of Velaryon and Targyern, sitting next to each other and often the of two children would lay their head on the others shoulder and drift to sleep grasping onto each other's hand. But as they grew up, the feelings they had for each other grew into something more, Aemond growing protective over Visenya and glaring at any lord or prince that would come her way at balls wanting a dance, wanting nothing more for his mother and father to agree to the Princess Rhaenyra proposal of marriage between the two. When the two were ripped apart from each other after a mishap about a claiming of a dragon and the loss of an eye, the two of them thought the other would forget about them. They would not be there to keep each other safe, and the fire they had burning within them would slowly be snuffed out.
