When Anthony Bailey comes to camp, he turns everyone away from Percy except Annabeth, Thalia, Nico, and Will. One night, Percy held on to a velvet box in tightly clenched fists. He was going to propose to Annabeth. 'She is the only one I can trust now,' Percy thought. But when he couldn't find her, he heard noises coming from the woods. Annabeth was making out with Anthony. Feeling betrayed, Percy ran away from camp, discovered friends and foes, and finally met this old man. A few years later, he had a mission.

The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down.
