The Sundered Wings of Glory: Short Story Collection.

Writing practice for one of my upcoming stories, The Sundered Wings of Glory, of which takes place on a continent dubbed Sepvíantur.

What happens when the main cast is thrown from their avian-like settings and into alternate universes, unaware of the drastic change? Why is the author perpetually deciding not to even touch the main story?

NOTES:
-Fan stories/spinoffs with the main cast are entirely allowed and in fact encouraged! Though, it is advised to wait until the actual story is produced to get a better grasp on the environment they are intended to be in. Or...don't. Anything's fine! :]

-This is mainly to get an understanding on my character's personalities and how they react in situations they are thrown into, such as getting a bag stolen or being threatened. This is also to get my motivation up and running and to get practice in before I tackle such a big project. That being said, criticism is very much so appreciated!

-Short stories relating to the actual storyline will most definitely be included.

-As an homage to the original story where all the characters have huge wings, on every one of the character's shoulder blades will be a thinly-lined gold wing modeled after their bird's respective wing structure. With a cartoonish flare, of course, swirls and all. It doesn't really contribute anything..I just thought it'd be neat.

-I'm 12. Does that contribute anything? Not really.
-Other characters from different WIP stories may be added.
