17-year old Claire Patrick hasn't had the best life. Losing her parents at 15, broke her in more ways than she knows. She sees younger children than her get bullied, yet she doesn't do anything to stop it, no matter how much she tries. She tries to be helpful, but on most days, she can't seem to get the energy to wake up. She's hurting, so so much. But she doesn't seem to realize that grief is not the end of the world.
There are only two words to describe Jackson Hughes. 'Almost Content'. Losing his eyes at the age of 7 didn't deter him. People hurled hurtful words at him, blamed him, yet he stood strong and proud and happy. He constantly tried to make the people around him happy. His parents threw him out of their house when he was 10, for not being the son they could flaunt in business parties. His life, before he lost his eyes was not that great either.
What happens when these two clashing personalities meet? Will they crash and burn or are they just 'Meant to Be'?
