Idoryn is a large Kingdom located near the ocean surrounded by mountains. It has a rich and strong history which led greedy nations around it to become cautious of it.
In the year 711 of the Sarin calendar a small Kingdom suddenly launched an overwhelming attack from the west. The war happened suddenly and countless lives were lost. The generals of that time were taken by surprise at the military power of such a small and poor kingdom.
The war prolonged for almost 10 years. It ended when the King of the small kingdom was defeated and hanged. Peace talks were of no use and each and every citizen of that kingdom was hostile against Idoryn and its people. It was almost like they were under some sort of magical spell.
The war hero who put an end to a long war and ended the needless suffering of so many people was a mere commoner. The nobles tried to strip him from his title that he deserved, worrying that it would make them lose their powers over commoners but a young prince defended him. He granted his friend nobility and promised to pay him back for his accomplishment.
Time passed but the hero didn't get any respect. Nobles called him a fake while the commoners called him a liar. His life was arduous but it changed when he met a young noble lady. She respected him and loved him for who he was and together their love manifested into a child that would shape the story of Idoryn. This book recounts the story of that very child.
