When Mother Eclair had enough of Amiel Campbell’s mischief, she decided to send a rather prestigious school a letter to amend the sixteen years old attitude,
thus the beginning of the worst Amiel thought was the very definition of her
town, Harperville.
She gets kidnapped by a very hot vampire, very sadistic too, and drags her to Hellfire Academy, which didn’t turn out to be a school for troubled teens, but a school
for supernatural creatures with a great hate for humans.
And she’s going to be the only human there.
The constant death threats, that included something about eating her and using her
bones as a toothpick, will be the end of her sanity, plus there’s this upcoming
blood week, an annual game in school that can only be won by slaying the voted
“King” of every opposing race, and with her being the only person in her race,
she gets to be the king and immediate death looms over her head like Death
himself was hovering above, ready to decapitate her.
What could she possibly do against six other races who want to be the winner and have
their wish granted by the Holy Grail?
Absolutely nothing.
That’s why she’s going to need a hand. Six pairs of hand.
One from a loco witch who became an outcast for her dirty tricks.
Two from the conceited clan of the vampires; one being an anemic vampire with a great
fear of blood, and one who was simply there because he wanted to terrorize the
living shit out of Amiel.
One from a fabulous fairy who dreams of being America’s next top model and has overdosed
from pixie dust.
One from a dazzling wolf, with a stomach the size of Jupiter, who had enough of raw
steak and prefers human food.
And one from a cunning devil because their “King” is an absolute A-hole and this bunch
of idiots proves to be a better companion. (She just hopes the idiocy is not
contagious.)
With only seven to represent the human race, will they survive the Blood Week?
Or perish even before the games starts from all these madness?
My eyes finally adjusted and I got a good look at the guy. Holy shit, he was HOT. He rivaled Lazarus, and that's saying a lot. He might even be more attractive than Elridge, wait no, I wasn't so sure about that one. Anyway, he had blonde wavy hair, milky skin that was clear from any imperfection, and he was tall. He was wearing a black long sleeved shirt that was fitted so you could see his muscles. There was something off about him though. Oh, I know what it was. His eyes were bright purple. Then he blinked and they were sky blue. What the...? Maybe it was just a trick of the light.
