Dragons are common in Zoe's world. At 16, you are assigned a legion, and if you're lucky, a dragon. The Second War of Dragonwall has been fought for centuries, and Zoe has been trained her whole life. She knows she won't get a dragon, no girls ever do, and she is sure that she will be eliminated shortly after assignment. But then she meets Starcaller.
