"Quackity?" I spin around, tackling him and tumbling roughly into the wall behind us. I pin his wrist down, tears dropping onto his soon-to-be crimson shirt. I can almost see the blood seeping out of the wounds I intend to slice into his skin. His pupils dilate as he clutches the dagger's hilt before it meets the vulnerable flesh of his neck. "Quackity drop the fucking knife," Wilbur hisses, gritting his teeth. My eyes widen as my grip loosens on the blade and his wrist, the knife clattering out of my grasp as I stare at him. I dip down, sensing the tension hovering between us, feeling his heart hammer against his ribcage. From where sit straddling his waist, I see his face soften at the sight of my dishevelment. "What are you so afraid of?" he whispers gently. * * * Synopsis: Behind closed doors, a casino isn't all glittering lights and card games. It's made of traitors and cheaters... Quackity has always stood in other's shadows, cast out from countries, betrayed by those whom he loved, and laughed at by those whom he thought he could trust. The moment he creates an empire of his own, however, suddenly everyone wants a piece of their own, and it seems as if they'll stop at nothing for a taste of power. On the night of Las Nevadas' grand opening, a traitor threatens to tear down everything Quackity has built, and it seems as if the only one whom he can trust is a man who has an interesting relationship with matches and TNT. Most of this is my AU with both characters. For example: Wilbur was born a hybrid, a fox! He has the ears and the tail...or use to have a tail... An example for Quackity! TNTduo Vampire AU (human!Quackity & vampire!Wilbur) Warnings: abuse, religious trauma, assault, descriptions of violence, possible smut (i haven't decided yet), unhealthy relationships, descriptions of depression/self harm/suicide This fic WILL probably be uncomfortable! You've been warned!! Also it's about the characters, NOT content creators!! Quackity can't stomach anything scary. Gore and ghouls and blood are most certainly not his forte. Unfortunately, after meeting Wilbur, he might just have to learn to adjust. His life does a very sudden 180 after one fateful Halloween night when he first becomes acquainted with a few members of the vampire coven that have apparently been in this town for generations. Mysterious disappearances and circumstances are starting to make more sense, and, unfortunately for Quackity, he now knows far too much to be left alone by a certain outcast vampire. Cover art: cyani07 **UPDATE** I don't support Wilbur. I don't support his actions. I'm highly disappointed, and this fic is for me to practice my writing. It was actually originally going to be an original work which I adapted to be a fic for the internet. My fanfiction doesn't support Wilbur monetarily. And in terms of publicity, I'm going to try to mitigate that by saying I am NOT a fan of his any more. Thank you for understanding.
