Evelyn Herondale, the daughter of one of the most renowned shadowhunters. Everybody looked up to them, even her and her little brother, Nathaniel. They were one of the strongest and greatest she's known, and all Evelyn wanted was to walk in their footsteps,.
But tragedy strikes while a night out with Chase, her beloved sweetheart. Now was the time to be strong, and she sneaks off one night to become that strong and great person she always strived to be.
She risks her life for not only him, but also for one special thing that can allow them to be together forever: immortality. Her good intentions became more of a tragedy than the first night. After all, too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam."
