The whispering of leaves as they swayed in tune with the solitary Fichzne's song led her to him. On the ancestral lands Moeba has grown up on, a tender wound festered in silence. It was beauty that drew the Plantoi and Fichzne together, and kindness which forged a bond, but grief and despair threaten to tear it all asunder.
On the first night of the Biirfocce ceremony, Moeba has an unexpected encounter with a Borino Fichzne, a being notorious for its capability to kill a Plantoi with a song. Moeba and Ibaku's parallel curiosities entwine as the events of the three-day ceremony unfold. Assumptions and beliefs are challenged as the reality of the dynamics between Fichzne and Plantoi are brought to light.
