Kate, John, Jason, and Faith were scrambling for the door to the girl's locker room, the only door made of metal in the school. A shot flew past Kate's face, luckily missing its target. They slammed the door shut and moved the metal shoe rack in front of it. It would not take long for the man to get through with his double barrel shot gun. For only an hour ago, the small group of four would have laughed of the idea of a school shooting, 'No one is brave enough to try!' John used to laugh it off. Although John looked unphased by the loud bangs that threatened to open the door, the two girls knew that he was as terrified as they were. They did not want to die here, not now.
