Read the Prologue, especially if you are not familiar with the game's main storyline and start from there however the order of stories are not designed to be linear, though they should follow a progressing timeline - meaning events that happened in past should be accounted for in 'present' moments.

Characterizations are explorations of my interpretation of character, backgrounds, and personal stories from known information, in-game as experienced by our protagonists or created simply to reinforce backgrounding without wasting time within the main story arcs.
