About the book!

Bendy and Cuphead knew eachother through childhood.

Bendy is one of the sons to the devil besides boris. i would say heir to the thrown but come on, the devil ain't backin down no time soon. Cuphead along with his brother Mugman were the sons to this greedy couple.

Now growing up they hated eachother. Playing pranks on eachother that may or may not lead to be in a broken leg or arm. maybe a few cracks to the face for cup. but even though they couldn't stand eachother, they were around eachother more then anyone else other than their brothers.

They havent seen eachother since they were kids, and planned on keeping it that way.
Cups parents being greedy and desprate led them back to the devils feet. Arranging a marriage for their first born for exchange for wealth. This deal was made behind their backs.

When its revealed that they must marry each other, they instantly remember that face. And everything the other put them through.
