The journey with Hunter Vick still continues! After a one month absence from the public, Hunter and Alexandria are now all ready to head out to accomplish their next mission and continue their journey for answers and reasons behind the existence and Morales of the unknown mutated faction The Last Shadow. The next stop in Hunter's journey is fabulous New Vegas after the private military corporation called the Northern Raptors has caught wind of particular individual Hunter is interested in, but will life in the new Sin City all be about poker chips, blackjack cards and brothel houses? Or is there even darker intentions hiding within the walls? Continuing off from where the previous book has left off from "The Lost and the Dead Book 1: The Uprising", rejoin Hunter and Alexandria as you will meet new friends and foes along the way in order to be one step closer in understanding the truth. Hunter and Alexandria will meet new challenges and obstacles as they now have to deal with the sudden increase in zombies, the more hardened criminals and crooks, the mob families that live on the strip and a particular Hunter killer sent out after him. The lights may shine brightly at the New Vegas casinos, but the journey for Hunter is far from taking a vacation. Will Hunter and Alexandria make it to New Vegas? Will they complete their mission before their presence brings the attention to some rather suspicious people? Will Hunter outwit the Hunter killer sent by The Monarch before it's too late? Time will tell, because life just turned into a casino game for Hunter: it's just a matter if he will get the Royal Flush or will get flushed out.

The New World has been the last peaceful and resourceful country for nearly two hundred years. Or at least that's what they say. Samantha Ivory has been living a boring average life in an old town with lots of history. That is, until the news of a carnival coming to town ignites new excitement. This carnival promises a night of fun for everyone. There are games, promising rewards, and food that no one has ever seen or tasted before. But what if this carnival isn't what it seems to be? And who are these people that have come into her town? Can Sam figure it out before it's too late, or will she get stuck playing a game she never wanted to play? (Currently completed as of October 2023, and finished editing as of March 2024) *****Excerpt***** Excerpt: Instead of seeing myself standing in front of me, there is somebody else and it's not my brother or anyone I know. A boy no older than me is just standing there, he is wearing a gray shirt with a hole in the shoulder and it has a handful of stains and dirt spots on it. I immediately know he is not from Treegrass. Not only have I never seen him before in my life but everyone in our town always wears nice clean and washed clothes, therefore nobody should be looking like him. The boy has a small cut on his cheek and is thin, a lot thinner than he should be. I look away from him and around at my surroundings, there is no one else here. I regain my composure and look at him again. That's when he says something that makes my blood run cold. "Run."

WARNING: Cussing, Strong Violence and other Triggering Content may occur. Prologue Mercy ran down the narrow streets, moving her legs as fast as she could. Running from what? Well, she doesn't know. At least, not yet. The streetlamps began to flicker and a loud scream was heard from inside an alley. All she really knew at that moment was to run. Her town was being raided by these monsters on black horses.... they carried long black blades stained with blood and dark hoods covering their faces. They raced recklessly through the town on their dark mounts, slashing at anyone who stood in their way. Some of them even carried torches, using them to set houses and stores alight in flames. People ran everywhere, screaming and yelling for their lost family and friends. But Mercy continued running... she had to. Until she saw a little girl, no older than seven, sitting in front of a burning building, crying. Mercy slowed, then with hesitation, walked over to the girl, avoiding being seen by the raiding party. "Whats the matter with you? You need to get out of the open." She told her. "But- but i don't know where my mommy is." The little girl sobbed. Although Mercy had lost her mother when she was fourteen, she still remembers the feeling of helplessness. "Alright. Come on... Let's go try to find your mom." She sighed. A raider was drawing closer to them, so they had to hurry... and Mercy knew it. "Run." She whispered to the girl, who was oblivious to the approaching attacker.
