Azula has been confined in the Fire Nation's most secure psychiatric prison for 10 years. Her brother Zuko and their mother Ursa have visited and supported her from almost the very start, even though neither of them were able to forgive her right away. Believing their issues finally resolved Zuko is furious when he learns that after many years of exemplary behavior, his sister causes an incident only days before her first parole hearing. Determined to find out the reason behind something he can't comprehend he makes a hasty visit to confront her.

Will she be able to seize her chance for freedom, adjust to life on the outside and find some happiness despite knowing that she can never be absolved?

60 parts Complete Mature

Y/N was getting sick of the South Pole. Her cocky twin brother Sokka, her insufferable little sister Katara, the endless snow, ice, water, and chores. Yes, she loved the place, and her family, but ever since father left she had basically been looking after the whole village. Wake up, train with siblings, go fishing, cook, and go to bed. Every. Single. Day. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Disclaimers! None of the art is mine unless said otherwise. I do not own Avatar the Last Airbender or it's characters. Why is this labeled as mature? Some gruesome descriptions, and dark themes. All possibly triggering pieces have warnings to notify the readers beforehand.
