I love the woods. The woods are filled with magic, enchantement. My life depends on the woods. The animals teach me how to be kind. The plants help me blossom with more strength. Then, the prince I love doesn't even know about me liking him. He probably thinks like all the other boys do. I won't give up until I know. My kingdom, the woods, my life depend on how to handle & face everyday. I spend all my time in books, wishing for that fantasy, but it's time for me to live reality.

When I was a little girl, I believed in fairy tales. I believed in princes and princesses and knights in shining armor. I believed in forever and happily ever afters. I was ten when reality hit me. My mom brought the evil home with her and there was no escaping it. That's when I learned that fairy tales were just that: fairy tales. The bad stuff is real, though. The difference is that I now know that the monsters and evil villains don't always wear capes and ugly scars. No: most of the time, they appear normal. I'm drowning in reality, in my life, and I've given up hope that a knight in shining armor will rescue me. But maybe... maybe I don't need a Prince Charming after all. A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. I try to be a good boy, but sometimes I can't help but grunt a protest at the nightmare that is my life. Mother doesn't dare let me get away with it, either. She'll make sure to beat me until I can't breathe then tell me how I deserve the life I was given. Killing her was the best decision I've ever made. Aaron, the kid who hates his emotionally unavailable mother and drunk father, saves me from a life on the run with an adventure in the woods behind our neighborhood. In this world, there are some people who get their happily ever afters and others who don't. Those who get their magical fairytale romance, cherish it for as long as it lasts while the others never get to enjoy the wonders of a fairytale. Instead, they are forced to stay inside their hopeless reality and grow old thinking about what they did to deserve never getting their once upon a time. I think those are the ones who wanted it bad enough. They craved a fairytale more than life itself. Devoted their lives to Disney movies and romance books just to be let down by the real world.
