Holly has always wanted to go on an adventure, just like the humans in her books, but as a Pixie, she has been told by those around her that she isn't built for the strain of quests and battles.
When she finally convinces her bodyguard and only friend, Rowan, to go with her, the two set off on a quest to the Underdark, a dark realm of stone and death, to find a cursed mirror.
