Romance
- Competition entry for Minor Complications- from @Romance by antiherosgalore - Short Story Jack had the unique ability to tell whenever someone was lying. It was pretty useful. But when he met his blind date, Ursula, he found that he felt that feeling constantly. To the point where it became headache inducing. But he was still curious to know more about her. "How could someone lie so effortlessly like that?" Ursula just wanted to find someone who was sweet and loved her for who she was on the inside, like any normal person would want. But when she met Jack, she knew that she had hit another wall. Though she tried to keep an open mind, she couldn't help but feel offended by his arrogant attitude and interrogative questions. "1 more hour of this...great."

{Completed} ==================================== "I'm scared Will." She whispered while looking up at the stars. "Of what?" I asked and turned to look down at her while she rested her head on my chest. "Of getting hurt again," she said while turning her body so she could look at me. "Don't worry. Nothing will hurt you as long as I'm here. I won't hurt you again Isabel, and I promise that." "Always?" She asked and I nodded. "Always," I assured her and sealed off the night with one kiss. ==================================== Love. It works out in many different ways, but does it really last? Sometimes lovers fall apart.
