Parker Beck was just your average high school girl. Got decent grades, had a part time job, listened to music religiously. When her favorite small-town artist, Soren Sheets, has a concert in her hometown, she was ecstatic about the news, but disappointed that she couldn't go. That is, until she runs into him in Target. It was almost like fate. When he gives her two tickets to his show, she could never have been happier. A few years have gone by since that night, and they suddenly cross paths once again. This time, at a big stadium with thousands of fans. Is this fate striking again?

For twenty years her head turned at every guy with hazel eyes. At just twelve old Callie Peters was convinced she met the love of her life at a music festival one summer. With her father as head of security Callie spent one weekend every summer at the festival, and each year she hoped Landry Ryan would return, but he never did. It was as if he never existed. At nineteen Callie followed in her fathers footsteps and became a security guard working the festival alongside him. She worked with him for a few years until tragedy struck. Her father suffered a heart attack while rescuing a concert goer from the pit. After spending a few years away, Callie finally had the courage to return for the twentieth year of the festival. She managed to stare down every man with hazel eyes, but she never imagined running into the boy who made her heart race at twelve. Only, he's different this time around. He got everything he ever wanted and more, but is he worth all the years of longing? Or is it time for Callie to put her childhood crush behind her and move on? *This story follows prompt # 72*
