Katsuki Bakugou hates having so much homework. Isn't it enough to spend his entire day learning without having to do so much work after school? How is he supposed to reach the top spot in his class if his evenings are occupied with completing all these assignments and not improving his quirk?

Enter Shouto Todoroki. Out of the kindness of his heart, Todoroki agrees to do Bakugou's homework assignments for him so he can work on becoming a stronger hero. But Todoroki has a condition of his own. In exchange for doing his homework, Todoroki wants Bakugou to become more in touch with his affectionate side. That includes hand holding, hugging, cuddling, and everything in between. Any display of affection Todoroki wants, Bakugou has to comply. 

Bakugou hates the idea, obviously, but he has no other choice. But little by little, Bakugou comes to realize that the conditions of their little deal may not be so bad after all.

The blonde ignored him in order to finish writing, "why would you do that?" Shouto shrugged, "we're best friends right? I read somewhere that best friends do that, that why I call Midoriya, Izuku now" he explained while Bakugou continued working. Bakugou rolled his eyes, "what difference does it make, if I say no your stubborn ass will do it anyways" Shouto smiled, "probably" (I did not edit this, only the version on AO3 so it may be very flawed.)

He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying.
