A Difficult Transformation

"I didn't realize what an effect my discovery would make", reminisces John, as he embarked on a life-changing adventure for both him and a magical friend. John is a writer on holiday who discovers a mysterious notebook which brings it's characters to life on the page. By the time John realizes that his character, Arthur, who is a total geek, is alive and has actual feelings, it's almost too late. Arthur's pangs of regret lead him on a quest to shape Arthur's life for the better. In the process, both characters delve into the philosphical question of, can you improve your life at any time despite a lonely and boring past?
