I had always read snippets of his storyline and I wanted to piece it together with some extra added details. Here is my rendition of Kaeya Alberich's backstory from Genshin Impact.

"No like, you're really pretty." He states, his cheeks pink. "Someone has an admirer." Kaeya snorts, looking from me to Venti. I can't think of an answer so I don't speak, giving other customers their drinks. Rosaria snickers and I look over. Venti looks defeated, taking a big swig of wine. "Thank you for the compliment, Venti." He smiles at me with newfound determination. Slumping over, he hiccups, almost falling off of the stool. His smile big, like I just gave him candy. After a bit, he falls asleep, and I hear Kaeya laugh again. Looking over at him, he smiles. "He likes you," Kaeya whisper shouts, drunk off his ass. "I would hope so. It would be awkward if he disliked his bartender." I say, confused. This only makes Rosaria laugh next to Kaeya. "He means that Venti likes you romanticly, Diluc." She snorts, also feeling the alcohol. Or Diluc's face always heats up when Venti is around. His vision no doubt. Ok, maybe a little doubt. Mondstadt was destroyed. Everyone had a hard time getting themselves back together. Their homes were gone, family members dead. Everyone grieved, everyone sad. Even still to this day, Mondstadt will never be the same. - Deep under the Knights of Favonious Head Quarters is a boy. Well, he really isn't a boy. He isn't even human. He's blindfolded and gagged, bound to the wall. He never moves, never speaks. He's been like that for 10 years. Kaeya found out about him on complete accident. He was with Klee that day and she had wanted to explore the Headquarters. It was a harmless request, so Kaeya, being the fabulous babysitter he is, agreed. They went too deep down. Kaeya should have known it was dangerous by the winding halls and the lack of light. But Klee persisted on going farther. Until they stumbled upon a small boy. He sat in a prison cell unmoving. Klee thought he was dead. They told Jean, who in turn, asked Varka who that boy was. He told them that he was dangerous. He needed to be kept down there. Caught between two feuding brothers, Diluc and Kaeya, it seems like there's no way of finally having them reconcile. That all changes when the meteorites fall. And with them they bring devastating consequences. "People are falling into deep slumbers and they aren't waking up." Forgotten secrets swept under the rug are brought to light after years of concealment. Swept into a life she swore never to live, Y/N's house, her worldviews, everything she has known has been discovered being built on lies. What happens when each tainted brick is removed, one by one? The Fatui life is not for the weak, and the past catches up quickly... Somebody is coordinating this play.
