A kitty pet and a dog, all living in one house. A grumpy cat, Midnight, has a bad past but refuses to talk about it, making her snappy whenever the dog, Maya, pestered her constantly about it. When a new kit arrives, Midnight gains an oddly motherly bond with the kit.
