Sunset and Heartbreaks

From twilight to night, all she could do was to peak through her window and watch him lovingly on his open window, she mastered that routine excellently. The sunset became a sentimental part as it reminds her of him but years later watching the sun sets at a hospital room no longer excites her as it became the sole witness of her despair.

Is there a second chance for them? or just like sunset it doesn't always end beautifully because it can also mean something is coming to an end.
