In ShadowClan, her Clanmates don't know anything is wrong, but the truth is a cornered fox. Ebonywind works hard to make sure her Clanmates don't discover the truth, but eventually, the fox escapes. Excluded and hated, Ebonywind seeks comfort from the two cats she has a surprising relationship with. Her sisters.

This time, Dark is clearly more powerful, vicious and willing to kill, than the first time they faced him. To top it all, Ebonywind is feeling something she definitely should not be feeling. When Ravenflight receives another vision, telling them to seek the Clans, and that only with the Clans can they defeat this evil, Ebonywind, Amberclaw and Ravenflight head back to their Clans and try persuade them. A storm brews, and that isn't the worst part. A wind-spinner terrorizes the Clans, and finally, they make the decision to help the Dynasty.
