The powerful beings crafted stones from unbreakable materials and put half of their souls and children souls in the stones, giving the stones immense power, powering the city they created and if souls in the stones bonded with someone would give them the power of the elements and godlike powers. They created technology and AI and robots for the small beings in the city. It was fine at first, but The Powerful being made one mistake, trusting his obvious evil brother and nephew and niece.
