Callum will find out more about his biological father and about his uncle Aravos.

Callum feels a strange presence and decides that with 4 years left before Aaravos returns, they needed to find a way to defeat him for good as quickly as possible. Ezran initially disagrees with his brother's reckless choice, but decides to help by calling someone familiar to the mission with Terry. While Callum, Rayla, Soren and Corvos go ahead in search of the moon's primary rock that Aaravos had created 3 years ago. This is a spoiler-free summary of Book 1.
