"Things happen, people change, the world can be a very cruel place Meredith." Meredith pondered, her eyes lost, she was thinking about something in her own little world. "But not everything in the world can be bad," Meredith spoke softly. "Sure, there's bad things, there's wild things, there's happy things, and then there's the good things." William closed his eyes and nodded. "There's always good things, and good people too. You just have to wait to meet them." 14 year old Meredith has had a tough past. She is an outcast, but let's her emotions show through reading and writing. When Meredith has had enough of her world, her town; She goes out on her own seeking an adventure like the ones she's read in fairy tales.
