Infinite Void

Nyctophobia is the term used for an extreme fear of darkness. It is a primal fear in animals, something we have learned through thousand years of evolution. Its not the actual darkness that we fear, but what dangers might lurk within and how they may harm us, that truly sends a shiver down our spine. To put it simply, it's as Nietzsche said, "if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."
Keeping this in mind, I present you all with this short story about a woman who one day found herself floating in the infinite void.
