A FAMILY DRAMA!
Hailey is living life as a typical, happy teenager. Far removed from the struggles of her childhood. Cute guys from her high school are starting to notice her, and she's overly excited about planning her impending sweet sixteen. Life continues as usual until an unexpected person walks back into it. Her birth mother, Amanda Burkens. Hailey is encouraged to give Amanda a chance, though she doesn't care about patching things up with an ex-convict. After much convincing from her adoptive parents, Hailey eventually agrees to meet up with Amanda, though she remains standoffish.
