The mistake I made, that day I could never fix, I couldn't and didn't even have the courage to try. Since that day I haven't changed much, I've just gotten older and full of regrets.

I could have told you how I felt, explained why I didn't want you to leave, why I wanted you to stay with me forever. But I was and still am a coward and I just made you walk away, I never asked why you were leaving, I just blamed you for it.

And now I spend my long, weary days thinking about you and what I could've done.

Before you I was lonely, with you I was happy, without you I'm empty.

If I had to ask for one thing, I would ask for a chance to apologize and redeem myself for putting tears in your eyes when you put a smile on my lips.
